It has been another fantastic year for Havant Conservatives in the local elections. We contested 12 seats on Havant Borough Council and won 10!

The Home Secretary praises Havant Councillor for 45 years service

The Home Secretary Amber Rudd has praised the dedication of long-serving Purbrook Councillor Gwen Blackett in the House of Commons.

Cllr Blackett retires this May after serving continuously on the council for 45 years, having been first elected in 1973.

Respect Pledge for local elections

Today (3 March 2018) the Conservative Party Chairman Brandon Lewis unveiled the Party’s Respect Pledge. The pledge will apply to all Conservative candidates standing in the local elections this year, ensuring they behave responsibly throughout the election.

Our Chairman visits the PM at Number 10

Our chairman, Mike Fairhurst, and his wife Liz were lucky enough to go to No 10 Downing Street. They were invited by the Prime Minister, Theresa May, to a reception held in the State Dining Room.
